Live a “Rich” Life!

Welcome Back

Start early and love life!

Instill these three guidelines for achieving financial freedom.

1. Define a Clear Goal:

Identify your passion, skills, and talents, and use them to determine a goal that will not only bring you financial rewards but also genuine happiness. Make this goal a true desire, and take practical and actionable steps to turn it into a reality. By staying focused on your chosen objective, you increase your chances of attaining both monetary success and personal fulfillment. In short think about what you are good at and how you can use those talents, in a positive way, to be happy and make the most money.

2. Create a Well-Structured Budget:

To ensure you live within your means, establish and follow a budget that takes into account both your expenses and pleasures. Calculate all your bills and understand exactly how much money you need for necessities. Likewise, determine your discretionary spending and evaluate the associated costs. By being aware of your financial situation, you can set up automatic payments for your bills, minimize late fees, and even earn points or cash-back rewards on your purchases, which can accumulate over time. Managing your finances through the use of checking and savings accounts can further streamline your bill payment process.

3.Plan for Retirement:

Securing your future is essential for long-term financial freedom. Maximize your contributions to your employer’s 401k retirement plan, taking advantage of any matching contributions they offer. Additionally, consider setting up a Roth IRA (Individual Retirement Account). This type of account can provide tax advantages and allow your retirement savings to grow tax-free. By setting aside funds specifically for retirement, you ensure that your retired life will be well provided for, giving you peace of mind and financial stability in the future.

By following these three guidelines, you can take significant strides towards achieving financial freedom, enjoying both the work you do and a secure retirement.

Words of Wisdom

“This week’s Words of Wisdom where written by George S. Clason from the book, “The Richest Man in Babylon.”

The story which takes place in Babylon a long time ago is about financial understanding. A way for you to make money, save money and use your extra money to make more money. Here are the words of wisdom.

“First, the plan doth provide for my future prosperity. Therefore one-tenth of all I earn shall be set aside as my own to keep. For Mathon speaketh wisely when he saith: “That man who keepeth in his purse both gold and silver that he need not spend is good to his family and loyal to his king. “The man who hath but a few coppers in his purse is indifferent to his family and indifferent to his king. “But the man who hath naught in his purse is unkind to his family and is disloyal to his king, for his own heart is bitter. “Therefore, the man who wisheth to achieve must have coin that he may keep to jingle in his purse, that he have in his heart love for his family and loyalty to his king.” Second, the plan doth provide that I shall support and clothe my good wife who hath returned to me with loyalty from the house of her father. For Mathon doth say that to take good care of a faithful wife putteth self-respect into the heart of a man and addeth strength and determination to his purposes. Therefore seven-tenths of all I earn shall be used to provide a home, clothes to wear, and food to eat, with a bit extra to spend, that our lives be not lacking in pleasure and enjoyment. But he doth further enjoin the greatest care that we spend not greater than seven-tenths of what I earn for these worthy purposes. Herein lieth the success of the plan. I must live upon this portion and never use more nor buy what I may not pay for out of this portion.”

Current Events

It may seem like a crazy dream to sell most of your possessions and live on a sailboat, traveling from country to country, but our family did it. Besides missing our family and friends back home, I can’t think of any regrets. Not having all the conveniences of being on land has afforded me time to concentrate on my personal development and find my true purpose. I hope that through these podcasts you learn to do the same.
