Welcome Back
Hello and thank you for reading today’s podcast. My name is Tom, I am the host and creator of The Social Seed.
Let me ask you a question “would you like to have a better life, you just don’t know how to get it?
What if I told you that you can have it…you only have to dream it and apply the knowledge you already possess to live it!
With The Social Seed podcast I help you search within yourself, see your vision and become the person you are destined to be!
Every week I read a piece of literature I feel will inspire your mind, feed your soul and elevate –your life!
I wrote a poem titled the “Legend”
Which has become my mantra.
“Be the Bee buzzing around, pollinating people with knowledge abound, creating fruit for all to feed, curing the world with a social seed.”
For this poem to become a legend I need you to also be the Bee – to inspire individuals with these weekly words of wisdom, to help them create a more happy and productive life. More importantly -a better world!
Current Events
We are finally getting ready to leave Martinique. It’s not usual that we spend such a long time in one place, unless it is hurricane season, and Martinique was starting to feel like my new home. We have had many great times here, countless birthdays from the many kids with fun social gatherings with so many sailors. We will not see some of our friends for a long time, because we will be heading west towards the ABC’s while most are going North; I hope everything goes well for them and we will still be in touch via our WhatsApp and Facebook friendships. This next week we will be preparing our boat to be underway for our longest passage yet – 4 days. So wish is luck!
This is where I will leave off for the week.
Let’s listen to today’s Words of Wisdom and see if it is the seed that will grow inside of you and inspire –your life!
Words Of Wisdom
Today’s Words of Wisdom where written by Napoleon Hill from “Think and Grow Rich” and Robin Sharma from “The 5AMClub”
“Everything which man creates, BEGINS in the form of a thought impulse. Man can create nothing which he does not first conceive in THOUGHT. Through the aid of the imagination, thought impulses may be assembled into plans. The imagination, when under control, may be used for the creation of plans or purposes that lead to success in one’s chosen occupation.”
-Napoleon Hill (Think and grow rich) pg.
“Mastery isn’t a sudden event. It really is a ceaseless process that may take years of painstaking craftsmanship, practice, sacrifice and suffering before the finished project intensifies to a level that moves the world.”
Robin Sharma (The 5AM Club) pg. 164
“To remain loyal to your noble ideal not only during the weeks after you thought up the dream but over the long months and perhaps extended years in the parched desert of creative implementation while you endure rejection, exhaustion, the stones of jealous peers, the skepticism of your loved ones, being diverted by other attractive opportunities and finding your way through the isolated winters of self-doubt.”
-Robin Sharma (The 5AM Club) pg.164
The Social Seed (POV)
I really like reading such well organized words of meaning. It really helps me when other people are able to organize and phrase words that I have thought about before but I was not able to write it down on paper or concieve the full message; I think that other people feel the same way. Although, these qoutes are only pieces of the full message and taken from the context that might have more of an effect if you read the book yourself; which is why I want to include the book and page.
Today’s writing about “Mastery of thought” is so important for people to think about; to know that mastery doesn’t come easy or without years of practice, patience and persistence; to build the necessary skills through experience and gain complete knowledge of your field. Many of the successful people of today and the past have had to put in many hours and years before they got their break or success. So don’t give up on your idea, see it through, believe in yourself and eventually, after many efforts, when you gain success you will not feel empty inside because you will know that the path you chose to walk was not easy but you still succeeded; not only did you succeed you probably learned so much more than you thought you would along the way! Mastery really is a “ceaseless process”.
“ambition without implementation is a ridiculous delusion.”-Robin Sharma (The 5AM Club) pg. 164

Please feel free to write me and let me know how I make you feel. Or how this podcast has changed your life! You can also send me your favorite inspirational literature with the name of the author for me to read.
My wife came up with a brilliant idea for listener’s “to write the literature in a journal and write how it makes you feel”
I want to thank Napoleon Hill and Robin Sharma for their inspirational writings and our Social Seed for this week.
Before I end this session I would like to read the writing one more time.
