I call it the “Legend”

“Be the Bee buzzing around, pollinating people with knowledge abound, creating fruit for all to feed, curing the world with a social seed.”

For this poem to become a legend I need you to also be the person to inspire individuals with these weekly words of wisdom and inspiration, to help them create a more happy and productive life. More importantly -a better world!

Current Events

I am still in Martinique. I have now been here for about 1.5 months and I am getting close to running out of propane for cooking, which there is no way to get on the French Islands for my boat. My dinghy engine is now well broken in, our radar is finally being looked at and I went on another hike across the island with a huge group of boaters, between 30-40 people; we looked like we had just disembarked a cruise ship to go on a tour.

Words Of Wisdom
Today’s Words of Wisdom where written by Napoleon Hill from his book “Think and Grow Rich” which is book within a book known as The Prosperity Bible.

“FAITH is the “eternal elixir” which gives life, power, and action to the impulse of thought!
FAITH is the starting point of all accumulation of riches! FAITH is the basis of all “miracles,” and all mysteries which cannot be analyzed by the rules of science! FAITH is the only known antidote for FAILURE! FAITH is the element, the “chemical” which, when mixed with prayer, gives one direct communication with Infinite Intelligence. FAITH is the element which transforms the ordinary vibration of thought, created by the finite mind of man, into the spiritual equivalent. FAITH is the only agency through which the cosmic force of Infinite Intelligence can be harnessed and used by man.”

Napoleon Hill the man who wrote the book “Think and Grow Rich”  believes if you mix Faith, which he calls (the “eternal elixir”) with Thought you can tap into the Ether where all thoughts are waiting for your mind to tune in and receive the (Infinite Intelligence) knowledge from a higher power, that you need to achieve your riches.

Faith -complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

Our question today is:
Can you completely believe in someone, something or –yourself?

Before I start, I want to mention an experiment.

The Michelson–Morley experiment (1887) was a scientific experiment to test for the presence and properties of a substance called aether. This was thought hypothetically to fill empty space. The experiment showed the substance did not exist.
Later confirmed in the 1920’s by other scientists.

Questions:

• Have you ever looked at a friend and knew what they were thinking without saying words?
• Have you had a feeling that something was going to happen, it did, and you said ” I knew it”
• Have you mentioned or thought of a  person before and they showed up or called you?

-I have had all these experiences and I believe most people probably have too!

-Are we some how communicating with people through messages which can’t be seen or heard?

Marconi (Italian inventor)

“In 1895 an Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi built the equipment and transmitted electrical signals through the air from one end of his house to the other, and then from the house to the garden. These experiments were, in effect, the dawn of practical wireless telegraphy or radio.”

“Marconi’s “friends” had him taken into custody, and examined in a psychopathic hospital, when he announced he had discovered a principle through which he could send messages through the air, without the aid of wires, or other direct physical means of communication.”

But he was right, he could send messages through the air without wires. This was the start for the basic principles of what we know today as the radio.

A radio is basically a transmitter, a signal or frequency vibration and a receiver.
Are our minds like a radio, able to send and receive messages or thoughts?

“Marconi dreamed of a system for harnessing the intangible forces of the ether.”

ETHER
“What is the ether in the universe?

“ether, in physics, a theoretical universal substance believed during the 19th century to act as the medium for transmission of electromagnetic waves”

Electromagnetic waves that are created as a result of vibrations between an electric field and a magnetic field.

Thoughts
“Everything in the universe has a unique vibration.So do thoughts. Different types of thoughts emit different types of vibrational frequencies, also known as energy signatures. An energy signature is essentially a unique identifier used by the energy web to understand how to communicate with all things in our world.”

Napoleon Hill
He wrote today’s Words of Wisdom and combined Marconi’s ether research and thoughts and wrote:

“the ether in which this little earth floats, in which we move and have our being, is a form of energy moving at an inconceivably high rate of vibration, and that the ether is filled with a form of universal power which ADAPTS itself to the nature of the thoughts we hold in our minds; and INFLUENCES us, in natural ways, to transmute our thoughts into their physical equivalent.”

The Michelson-Morley experiment says ether doesn’t exist, but remember the questions earlier?

• Have you ever looked at a friend and knew what they were thinking without saying words?
• Have you had a feeling that something was going to happen, it did and you said ” I knew it”
• Have you ever mentioned someone’s name – a friend and then they call you or they show up or you see them in a store?

I owned a restaurant and my brother and I would talk about a person who hasn’t showed up in awhile and that night they would show up; we would laugh and think it was crazy because it always happened.

So I believe there is some kind of force in the world which allows us to absorb thoughts; even if it can’t be seen like a radio wave.

This leads us back to the question of “can you have FAITH in yourself?”

So if you have faith in yourself and believe your mind will receive infinite intelligence (knowledge from a higher power) from the world (ether), you will be unstoppable in accomplishing your dreams!

Todays method of acquiring faith in oneself could be summed up in the slogan “Fake it, till you make it’!

Now let’s read ways of acquiring faith as per the book “Think and Grow Rich“

How to aquire FAITH
• “FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of auto-suggestion.”
• “To make this “deceit” more realistic, conduct yourself just as you would, if you were ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE MATERIAL THING WHICH YOU ARE DEMANDING,”
• Perfection will come through practice. It cannot come by merely reading instructions.
• Statement of Desire to Achieve Faith
“Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.”
