Welcome Back
Hello and thank you for reading today’s podcast. My name is Tom, I am the host and creator of The Social Seed.
Every week I read a piece of literature I feel will inspire your mind, feed your soul and elevate your life!
This is a poem I was inspired to create after I started reading The 5 AM Club. I call it “The Legend”.
“Be the Bee buzzing around, pollinating people with knowledge abound, creating fruit for all to feed, curing the world with a social seed.”
This has become my mantra. To inspire individuals with weekly words of wisdom for a more happy and productive life. More importantly -a better world!
My Current Events

Welcome to this week’s current events. The last time I left you I had anchored in Admiralty Bay, Bequia and saw Jesse from Kialoua. Bequia was a tranquil anchorage. They had numerous dinghy docks extending from the boardwalk which wrapped around the town. Not only could we walk right next to the water where all the local bars, restaurants and pastry shops were. This boardwalk led us to several beautiful beaches with friendly waves. The days were windy, with light occasional showers, but the sun was warm and bright for the majority of the time. We were there for Thanksgiving and enjoyed a wonderful potluck dinner with 5 families on my friend Jack’s boat named “Country Roads”. It was a memorable day. I look forward to visiting there again in the future. From Bequia we checked out and sailed overnight to Martinique. This is where I will leave off for the week.
Let’s read today’s Words of Wisdom and see if it is the seed that will grow inside of you and inspire -your life!
Words Of Wisdom
Today’s Words of Wisdom were written by Corey Buter he wrote an article titled “How To Manifest Anything In 8 Easy Steps”. So I will read two steps in each of the next four episodes. Together we can make a life change. Some materials that might be useful are a notebook and a pencil. I hope you’re up for the challenge! Here is the first step.
1. Set A Goal
“Without a goal we have no direction. With no direction we’ll go no where. You must be clear what your goal is. Write it down, remind yourself daily and take steps to make it real. You’ll find that it becomes magnetised to you taking form more quickly[than] you can ever imagine.”
2. Gratitude
“Gratitude is the fertile soil where the seeds of all our desires grow. Start to feel grateful for what you have now. You will realize that you are already rich beyond your dreams and that feeling will only bring more of the same. Don’t fail on this one!”
The Social Seed Commentary
So step #1 is to “set a goal”. What is your goal? Have you had past goals that you haven’t worked on in a while? Is there something current that has drawn your interest? What comes to your mind when you close your eyes and ask the question “What is my goal”? Maybe you have a couple of goals, write whatever comes to your mind at this point. Let you mind free-flow with answers. If it doesn’t come to you now, it might come to you later on in the day. In the end, I would only chose one answer and concentrate on it. Relax and let your goal enter your mind!
Let’s move on to step number 2 “Gratitude”.
What in your life are you grateful for? Do you have a great family? Good health? Plenty of food? Fun friends? It might be easier to find things you’re grateful for when you think about what other less fortunate people would love to have that you possess. This step helped me to realize I am truelly blessed. Also, I feel that being grateful for what I have keeps me happy with my surroundings so I am not always searching for the next best thing.
Find Your Inspiration
I want to thank you for reading today. I encourage you to find your inspiration in life and -be the best you!
I want to also thank Corey Buter for his writing today and the inspiration for this week.
Become A Participant
Please feel free to write me and let me know how I make you feel. If you have a favorite inspirational literature or quote you would like me to read. Or maybe how this podcast has changed your life! My wife came up with a brilliant idea if you would like to use it “to write the qoute down in a journal and write how it makes you feel”.
